Here's what people have said who attended some of our previous courses:

The Mountain Skills course was everything I was looking for and more. Paul is a really good instructor and great company. Both Ben and I gained loads from him and I will certainly be coming back....
— Richard Masterman - Oct 17
Superb two days in the mountains - good organisation, well balanced delivery of skills & knowledge, 100% hands on skill development, no time wasting, good learning pace comprehensive post course follow-up information.
The course went beyond my expectations with all credit to our instructor Lachlan whose perceptive & supportive instruction style provided the correct mix of individual expectation & reinforcement as the days progressed.
Most definitely value for money.
— Ferne Davies - Mar 17
Attended the Mountain Skills course with Lachlan from Mountain Addiction in the Brecon Beacons. I wanted to consolidate learning and gain confidence in navigating in more mountainous terrain. Lachlan is an excellent teacher and shared a lot of really useful practical experience. The course met all my objectives and was superbly delivered.

I really enjoyed the weekend. Thank you.
— Nick Dawson - Mar 17
I can’t recommend Mountain Addiction highly enough! Lachlan is a superb instructor and provided expert advice throughout the whole weekend. I completed my Silver NNAS award with him in the Brecons and now feel very confident in my ability to go out and have an adventure and I now have the skills required to do it safely. Before the weekend had even finished we’d already decided on next trip with Lachlan. Highly recommended!
— Oli Oldfield- Oct 2016
I had a super weekend and learned a lot. I appreciated your focus on what I really wanted to get out of the course.
— Robb Campbell - May 2016
Very clear calm instructing. Learnt a lot in a non-pressurised way. Excellent weekend, good company and teaching. Achieved way more than I expected.
— Kathryn Tyler - May 2016
Great course. Instructors were informative and knowledgeable. I have learnt a lot this weekend and refreshed skills I have not used for a long time. Very pleased!

Bloody wonderful weekend, so enjoyed myself. Learnt so much that I didn’t know I didn’t know. I have real confidence now to do my own stuff and enjoy it, instead of not knowing where I am and walking many miles extra!
